AFGHANISTAN TOUR OF ZIMBABWE 2022: Afghanistan won the match against Zimbabwe by 8 wickets played at Harare Sports Club in Harare. In this match, Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. This is the second match of Afghanistan vs Zimbabwe where Afghanistan won both the ODI matches by brilliant runs and wickets.
Zimbabwe team scored 228 runs in 50 overs and lost all wickets. Where Zimbabwe’s batsman Innocent Kaia played a brilliant inning against Afghanistan and scored 63 runs. Where another batsman Ryan Burl scored 51 runs, Sikandar Raza 40 runs and captain Craig Ervine scored 32 runs to give his team a strong target against Afghanistan.
Where the Afghanistan batsman chased down Zimbabwe’s target in 44-3 overs and scored 229 runs and lost 2 wickets. While Afghanistan batsmen Ibrahim Zadran and Rahmat Shah showed excellent partnership against Zimbabwe, Ibrahim Zadran scored 120 runs and Rahmat Shah scored 88 runs for his team. Both these batsmen chased down Zimbabwe’s target with ease and won the match by 8 wickets.
