José Alberto Pujols Alcántara is an American baseball player, first baseman, and designated hitter for the St Louis Cartier of significant league baseball. He was born on 16th January 1980 and has turned 42 years. In the field he is nicknamed The Machine and has played his first 11 seasons from St Louis Cartier after that played with Los Angeles for more than nine seasons before joining the Los Angeles Dodgers for half a season and then returning to the Cardinals in 2022 for what he has said would be his final season. From the year 2020, he will be one of the oldest active baseball players in MLB player. He is considered one of the best players of all time and will likely make the Hall Of Fame.

Few teams were interested in Pujols because of uncertainty about his age, which position he would play, and his build. He was selected as an MLB player for St Louis Cartier in 1999. Pujol begin his minor baseball career in 2000 playing third base with the Peoria  Chiefs.
