England beat India by 100 Runs in 2nd ODI Match

INDIA TOUR OF ENGLAND, 2022: England won the match against India by 100 runs in the second ODI at Lord’s in London. In this match, India won the toss and decided to bowl first and chase England’s target. But India could not chase its target of England and lost the match by 100 runs.

England team scored 246 runs in 49 overs and lost 10 wickets. While England batsmen Moeen Ali and David Willey played brilliant innings against India, Moeen Ali scored 47 off 64 balls and David Willey scored 41 runs in 49 balls. While another batsman Jonny Bairstow scored 38 runs, Liam Livingstone scored 33 runs and Ben Stokes scored 21 runs to give his team a strong target against India.

Whereas India’s team could not chase England’s target and lost the match by 100 runs. While India’s team scored 146 runs in 38.5 overs. India batsmen Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja were the top scorers for their team, where Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja scored 29 runs. Another batsman Suryakumar Yadav scored 27 runs in 29 balls, Mohammed Shami scored 23 runs and Virat Kohli scored 16 runs.

England bowler Reece Topley became the Player of the Match, where he conceded 24 runs in 9.5 overs with 6 wickets. While other bowlers David Willey, Brydon Carsey, Moeen Ali and Liam Livingstone took 1-1-1-1 wickets for their team. While India’s bowler Yuzvendra Chahal gave 47 runs for 4 wickets in 10 overs. Where other bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya took 2-2 wickets, and Mohammed Shami and Pranabha Krishna took 1-1 wickets against England.
