India beat South Africa by 82 Runs in T20I Seires Played at Rajkot

SOUTH AFRICA TOUR OF INDIA, 2022: India won the match by 82 runs against South Africa in the T20 series played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. In this match, South Africa won the toss and decided to bowl first while South Africa could not beat India’s target and lost the match by 82 runs.

India’s team scored 169 runs in 20 overs against South Africa and lost 6 wickets. While India batsmen Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya played brilliant innings against South Africa, Dinesh Karthik made 55 off 27 balls and Hardik Pandya scored 46 runs in 31 balls. Where another batsman Ishan Kishan scored 27 runs and Rishabh Pant scored 17 runs to give his team a strong target against South Africa.

Cricket South Africa tweeted on Twitter and said, “RESULT | INDIA WIN BY 82 RUNS India’s bowlers ensured no solid partnerships could be built as they dismissed the #Proteas for 87 in their pursuit of the 170-run target. The series is now tied at 2-2, heading into the final game.”

Whereas South Africa could not chase down India’s target and lost the match by 82 runs. Where South Africa scored 87 runs in 16.5 overs and lost 10 wickets. For his team, South African batsman Rassie van der Dussen scored 20 runs, Quinton de Kock scored 14 runs and Marco Jensen scored 12 runs.

India bowler Avesh Khan took 4 wickets in 4 overs and conceded 18 runs. While another bowler Yuzvendra Chahal took 2 wickets in 2 overs, Harshal Patel and Axar Patel took 1-1 against South Africa. While South African bowler Lungi Ngidi took 2 wickets in 3 overs. While another bowler Marco Jensen, Dwayne Pretorius, Enrique Nortje and Keshav Maharaj took 1-1-1-1 wickets for their team.
