INDIA TOUR OF ENGLAND 2022: India won the series 2–1 against England where in the previous match England had defeated India by 17 runs at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Where England won the toss and decided to bat first and set a strong target against India. Where India could not chase England’s target and lost the previous match.

England team scored 215 runs in 20 overs and lost 7 wickets. Where England batsman Dawid Malan played brilliant innings against India, where he scored 77 runs in 39 balls. While another batsman Liam Livingstone scored 42 runs in 29 balls, Jason Roy scored 27 runs in 26 balls, Harry Brooke scored 19 runs in 9 balls and Jos Buttler scored 18 runs in 9 balls to set a strong target against India.

But India could not chase the target, England and lost the match by 17 runs. Whereas India’s team scored 198 runs in 20 overs and lost 9 wickets. India’s batsman Suryakumar Yadav played a great inning against England and he scored 117 runs in 55 balls. While another batsman Shreyas Iyer scored 28 runs in 23 balls, Virat Kohli scored 11 runs in 6 balls and Rohit Sharma scored 11 runs in 12 balls for his team.

England bowler Reece Topley became the Player of the Match, where he conceded 22 runs in 4 overs with 3 wickets. While other bowlers David Willey and Chris Jordan took 2-2 wickets, Richard Gleeson and Moeen Ali took 1-1 wickets for their team. While against England Indian bowlers Ravi Bishnoi and Harshal Patel took 2-2 and Avesh Khan and Umran Malik took 1-1 wickets.
