Whereas Kolkata Knight Riders could not chase down the target of Lucknow Super Giants and lost the match by 2 runs. Kolkata Knight Riders scored 208 runs in 20 overs and lost 8 wickets. Where Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Shreyas Iyer scored a half-century against Lucknow Super Giants. Where another batsman Nitish Rana scored 42 runs in 22 balls, Rinku Singh scored 40 runs in 15 balls, Sam Billings scored 36 runs in 24 balls and Suni Narayan scored 21 runs in 7 balls.
