NEW ZEALAND TOUR OF IRELAND, 2022: New Zealand won the match against Ireland by 1 run in the ODI series played at The Village in Dublin. New Zealand won the series by 3–0 against Ireland. In this match, New Zealand won the toss and decided to bat and set a strong target against Ireland.
New Zealand scored 360 runs in 50 overs and lost 6 wickets. On the other hand, New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill played brilliant innings against Ireland and became the Player of the Match, where he scored 115 runs in 126 balls. While another batsman Henry Nicholls scored 79 runs in 54 balls, Glenn Phillips scored 47 runs in 30 balls and Finn Allen scored 33 runs in 28 balls to set a strong target against Ireland.

Whereas the Ireland team could not chase the target and lost the match by 1 run. Ireland’s team scored 359 runs in 50 overs and lost 9 wickets. Ireland’s batsmen Paul String and Harry Tector played brilliant innings against New Zealand, where Paul String made 120 runs in 103 balls and Harry Tector scored 108 runs in 106 balls. While another batsman Andy McBrine scored 26 runs, Gareth Delany scored 22 and George Dockrell also scored 22 runs for his team.

New Zealand bowler Matt Henry took 4 wickets in 10 overs and conceded 68 runs. While other bowlers Mitchell Santner took 3 wickets in 10 overs and Blair Tickner took 1 wicket for his team. While Ireland bowler Joshua Little took 2 wickets in 10 overs. While other bowlers Craig Young, Curtis Camper and Gareth Delany took 1-1-1 wickets against New Zealand.
