Where Ireland won the toss and decided to bowl first and chased down New Zealand’s target. But Ireland could not chase New Zealand’s target and lost the match by 88 runs.
Against Ireland, New Zealand’s team scored 179 runs in 20 overs and lost 4 wickets. Where New Zealand batsman Dane Cleaver played a brilliant inning against Ireland and became the player of the match, where he scored 78 runs in 55 balls. Another batsman Finn Allen scored 35 runs in 20 balls, Glenn Phillips scored 23 runs in 16 balls and Daryl Mitchell scored 14 runs in 10 balls to set a strong target against Ireland.

Whereas Ireland’s team could not chase New Zealand’s target and lost the match by 88 runs after being all out in 13.5 overs. While Ireland batsman Mark Adair scored the most runs for his team, he scored 27 runs in 22 balls. While another batsman Paul Stirling scored 21 runs in 15 balls, Curtis Camper scored 14 runs in 14 balls and Barry McCarthy scored 11 runs in 8 balls.

New Zealand bowler Michael Bracewell took 3 wickets in 5 balls and conceded 5 runs. While other bowlers Ish Sodhi took 3 wickets in 3 overs, Jacob Duffy took 2 wickets in 3 overs and Lockie Ferguson took 1 wicket against Ireland. Ireland’s bowlers Joshua Little and Craig Young took 2-2 wickets in 4-4 overs against New Zealand.
