AUSTRALIA TOUR OF SRI LANKA, 2022: Sri Lanka won the match by 4 runs played against Australia played at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. In this match, Australia won the toss and decided to bowl first and chased Sri Lanka’s target but Australia could not chase Sri Lanka’s target and lost the match.
Sri Lanka’s team scored 258 runs in 50 overs and lost 10 wickets. Where Sri Lankan batsman Chamika Asalanka played brilliant innings against Australia and also became the Player of the Match, where he scored 110 runs in 106 balls. While another batsman Dhananjay de Silva scored 60 runs in 61 balls, Wanindu Hasaranga scored 21 runs in 20 balls and de Velalez scored 19 runs to give his team a strong target against Australia.

Australia’s team, chasing Sri Lanka’s target, lost the match by 4 runs. Where Australia team scored 254 runs in 50 overs and lost 10 wickets. Australia batsman David Warner played great innings and scored 99 runs in 112 balls. Another batsman Rat Cummins, who came out to chase Sri Lanka’s target, scored 35 runs in 43 balls, Travis Head scored 27 runs in 33 balls and Mitchell Marsh scored 26 runs in 27 balls.
